Support

Get academic support and welfare support right here.

Click on 'Academic Affairs' to find out about studying in Homerton and to find out who your subject rep is. The Liaison and Academic Affairs Officer for this year is Asmita Singh.

Click on 'Welfare' to find out what support is available, and to get advice on everything from sexual health to dealing with bereavement.

The Welfare Officers (Tristan Tetteroo Salas and Alice Esuola) work with the Co-Opted Officers to form your Welfare Team. Find out how to contact them by clicking on 'Welfare'.

They can provide condoms, pregnancy tests and Chlamydia tests, as well as information and contact details.

They will do your best to help you with stress, depression, eating disorders ... anything!

We also have a fantastic College Nurse and upon arrival you will join a local doctor's practice.

Homerton also has a team of Peer Supporters, trained by the University Counselling Service to help peers work through problems. They're a friendly bunch and always willing to listen, plus they're students like you, and know the ups and downs of uni life.

Coming to university can be scary at first, but the HUS is here to help you settle in and feel at home. If we can do anything to help you, feel free to come and ask. We're here for you to chat to in general too!
