To have a great night in Cambridge, it's all about knowing what places to hit and when!
You'll never struggle to find a decent bar or pub, as Cambridge is filled with them.
There are only a few clubs for dancing, but they still offer a lot for students throughout the week.
Just remember to take your ID whenever you hit the town! And don't lose it!
Clubs
ballare - The most popular in Cambridge and always known as Cindies. The home of cheese, but the kind of cheese everyone loves. It sits above some of the shops at Lion’s Yard, and is quite small, but gets pretty packed out on student nights!
fez - Regular international nights. Goes for indie and dance. Find it down a small alley by Karen Millen. Has a really good atmosphere with areas for dancing as well as for lounging with incense sticks and pillows. Their shark buckets are a fan favourite.
lola lo - Behind lion’s yard, this club has three floors including a roof terrace. This is a newly-opened, luau-themed club, and it's proved a big hit. Why not find out what all the fuss is about...
the place - An underground club in town. Also called Life by lots of students, this is a surprisingly enjoyable sweatbox with some great drinks deals. The place to be on Thursdays and Sundays.
revolution - A bar on the ground floor, club in the middle, and mezzanine up at the top. Oh, and lots of flavoured vodka.
kambar - Alternative Cantabs love it here. A bit rustic and completely different in atmosphere from everywhere else.
